     Wat Pa Lao Woodland (WPLW) is a religious, educational and public non-profit organization formed under Washington Law on August 6, 2014, to serve the religious and social needs of the Washington and Oregon Lao Buddhist Community as well as members from other communities interested in our meditation practice, traditional & ceremonial activities as determined.
     As set by the bylaws, WPLW is formally structured with the Board of Administrators (BAs) to support within the mission of the temple activities in the Office of the Monastery (Monks), Phor and Mae Khao, Council of Sarawat while the Council of Elders serving in the advisory capacity.  We are also partnering with the Lao- American Association of Clark County, Vancouver, Washington on the non-religious programs to maintain our customs and related traditional practices. 
     WPLW invites you, members, friends and guests of all ages to our place to explore, to learn, and to practice Laotian traditional meditation practice and celebrate with us Laotian traditional festivities as scheduled (click on calendar for information). Our temple is located in the City of Woodland, about 20 miles north of Vancouver, Washington, and only 25 miles north of Portland, Oregon.
